She got caught speeding in her horse lorry? Tell me more I obviously was on a different planet when this happened!!!

Or is it a case of she got caught doing 35 in a 30 cos even my mum did that and she is a really really careful and generally slow driver!!

this is nonsense.

I'm going to hold my hand up and confess that I never muck out and pay someone else to do it. I work long hours, have to travel nearly an hour each way to the yard and have other commitments so no, I don't muck my horse out myself. I do however make sure his every need is met and make sure that the time I do have with him is quality time. Doesn't mean I don't love him dearly.
 
if she loved them so dearly she wouldn't speed in her horse box and she would be the one mucking them out every day, not some servant!

What a really odd thing to say......

I suspect the last thing she has time to do is muck out several horses (although some of them are stabled at her trainer's anyway, not with her). So of course she would need to employ grooms to help.

She's not a one horse owner - but has several. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility or realism to assume that she'd need to employ people to help look after them. As indeed do several people on here.
 
I'm not a Katie Price fan, but I do think that she is basically an unhappy woman constantly craving attention who will never be satisfied with life.

I must admit that she is very good at getting the attention that she wants!
 
Some of this has been funny to read! definitely an odd looking stallion lol

I personally like it when people do put the effort in themselves to muck out, and some people are just plain lazy and dont do it, but like the above, sometimes its not possible, and id prefer someone to look after my horse properly, and know theyre well looked after than not being able to myself.. I muck out myself, but nothing against people that dont, and definitely dont think they love them any less! more the opposite, and them being selfish and not thinking about the horses welfare and not employing someone to look after them well if they cant :)
 
I can't believe I just listened to her talk on the video on the Daily Mail site - my brain is starting to melt. I probably feel a bit sad for her, actually. And very sad that she (and all the TOWIE type celebs) are becoming role models for young teenage girls.

She is fake...and the horse stunt is fake. She is not controlling a rearing stallion. She is posing on a trained stunt horse, with the trainer (complete with lunge whip) telling the horse when to rear. All she has to do is hang on and pout. And most people on here could do that, I'm sure.

Right, I'm off to put on my bikini, and some orange face paint and parade around the village. If I can persuade the cob to lift his front legs off the floor for a few seconds, you may see me in the local somerset press anytime soon :)

Also need to check that my servant (or OH) has mucked out for me this morning!!

Lovely horse, looks like they've just gone and got the black stallion from the film to do the shoot (although I realise that pony is likely dead by now!)

KP sure does know how to make money and get people talking about her - no press is bad press and all that jazz - 102 comments on one article on one horsey forum - well done KP ;)
 
Say what you like about that lass, the horse looks really comfortable, not like most dressage wrecks, no flash noseband, so no displaced behaviour.
The girl looks a bit silly dressed like that, but it takes all sorts.

I'm not a huge KP fan, but I do have to give her credit for managing to stay in the spotlight for so long . . . she may be trashy to look at, but she's obviously a pretty savvy businesswoman and as her horses are apparently not stabled at home but with trainers (hers and theirs) I think it's perfectly reasonable that the mucking out/general care is done by yard staff.

If I had her money, I'd have my boy at home, buy a few more and possibly hire a groom to do one end of the day . . . probably the evening end. I truly don't understand a) how you can refer to professional grooms as "servants"; and b) why it's any of your business (or mine come to that) how she chooses to take care of her horses.

The horse is an Iberian, owned by Daniel Naprous of The Devil's Horsemen, he most definitely is a stallion (for those who don't know, a stallions testicles will retract for defence when rearing) but it is not a 3yo.

The saddle is a Portugese saddle, the movement is a Levade and yes the horse would have been trained to do this.

I am not a KP fan but she cannot be held responsible for the Daily Fail saying that a) it is her horse and b) it is a 3yo!

I would like to see some of those lambasting KP in this thread perform a Levade for the cameras!

FTR I think she is very very trashy and has done dressage no favours BUT some of the comments on this thread are way out of order, the poster who said she does not love her horses because she does not muck them needs to remember that she a) is not a one horse owner and b) has a business to run as well as being a mother, hang I would pay someone else to muck out too!
 
It is obviously levade, not a rear. I seem to have heard that the Spanish Riding School don't even start teaching the 'airs above the ground' (of which levade is one) until the horse is in its teens, as it needs to have established collection to the level of good piaffe as the basis.

i dont know her, so what i think of her is immaterial, i do think its pretty ****ty folks slagging her riding off as well, shes probably like most other riders, trying to do her best when onboard, not perfect but trying.
I take it everyone whose slagging her off is riding perfectly and cant improve in any way shape or form :D;)

This...I have met KP on numerous occasions including before she was famous. I knew her thru living in the same village as one of her original bfs and my best friend was always repairing the cars he was constantly demolishing!
Yes she has a way of doing things which might offend/appear trashy/chavy but she is a clever business woman,a mother and a kind horsewoman. Who she is on camera/in the media/in public is a very different person to who she is in real life. I think before stones are cast have a look at yourselves and don't maybe hold her responsible for the daily fail/sun/whoever.She doesn't write the articles and journalists clearly ALWAYS listen & write the truth!:rolleyes: She is who she is and like it or not, everything she has been thru with her little boy and how she has been treated even over that to me shows her and the press i a very different light. As a person I like the real her not the public her.The press will always scandalize and she may be one to always hype (thats why she does't need to muck out) BUT she is a human and a good, kind caring one at that-you oly have to hear her talk about Harvey to see this side of her. But then what would i know..its just my humble opinion!

Thanks for the info, Amaranta. It's quite instructive to see how people pronounce so confidently on the non-entirety of a rearing horse just because they can't see balls. :rolleyes:
 
the horses in question is indeed querto dante from the devils horsemen, he is a 14yr lusitano stallion(defo one iwork and ride him) he used to be the lloyds bank horse but has since retired when they changed to the new trakkener.

If I had her millions I wouldn't be mucking out, poo picking or any other delights either. Lots of envious minnies with forked tongues on this thread.
