Just been alerted to this lovely tale by a facebook horsey friend who is trying to find replacement rugs for little Lucian who is growing fast after a rocky start to life.
If any body has any 4foot 9 rugs that may fit him please message me and i will pass your details on.
I thought that a little appeal on here may help. if you are in Lancashire me or friend could possibly collect :O)

I must admit the first time i watched it i was in floods of tears.
Its a moving story and the owner has done well to keep the foal in good health.

Such a sad story, hope the foal is doing well.
The link wasn't clear as to who the owners are and why rugs are needed. Is it a charity and do they have a facebook page ?

Not a charity just someone that took pity on a mare and got a BOGOF, the mare should never have been let get into that horrid condition, I do not know all the details just that the owner has lots of vets bills to sort and money is tight and she is a friend of a friend.
The horse comunity being what it is i heard and posted on here to see if i could help.
I asked the friend to make sure it was ok for me to post on here.
