Kauto's last schooling before Saturday.

I think as long as AP doesn't go off all guns blazing and he tips up then yes. He can outstay everything else in the field, just needs to settle quietly behind the leaders then pick them off one by one, much like last time really :)

If Kauto wasn't to win I would like to see either Forpadydeplasterer win just to prove he can finish somewhere other than second  or given what has happened with Joe Lively and Monet's Garden I would like to see Ollie Magern win it for the oldies :) But I doubt v.much that will happen.

If Kauto isn't there at the finish I think Nacarat may be in with a shout, I cannot see him staying on with Kauto though.

I watched long run training the other day and its all about him come saturday. Can't see kauto beating him tbf.

You heard it here first

TelH: Agree with you. I do wish it'd stop raining though. I can't shake off the memory of last year's near disastrous Gold Cup run in a bog.

Ah yes, I'd actually forgotten AP had the ride. That could change everything.
I'd like to see Kauto do it. 5 times would be a hell of an achievement, I but would be equally chuffed to see Nacarat or Ollie Magern do it.
So long as they all come back safe I'll be happy. :)

I doubt the ground will go worse than soft and Kauto has won on soft before, although I think his ideal ground would probably be good-soft.

Wispa...your post just reminded me of a bloke I knew who used to say the very same thing every time Exotic Dancer lined up against Kauto ;) :p The best horse on the day will win and like alliersv1 said coming back safe is the most important thing :)
