KBF99 brushes for mud fever?

Anyone used these for mud fever? Just ordered the body brush to try as been told its worked for others.

Sounds interesting - I'll be watching this thread as my horse has just developed a touch of mud fever. I know they have certain antibacterial properties but how are they supposed to work against mud fever?

Not sure but quite a few people used them on their horses legs and the mud fever cleared up, at the moment anything is worth a try.

I got some, no idea if they helped with the lads mud fever but they have helped clear some scabby bits from the welshy's back, they are nice to hold and both horses dont seem to mind them on sore bits.

I bought the body brush and dandy brush at Burghley, as I thought I would be able to find a new horse around September/October time.

Unfortunately Mr Right didn't come on the market until 2 weeks ago, and arrived last Thursday. Haven't used them yet but will be digging them out this afternoon.

I work for the company that makes these. They were tested at Coventry Uni on both bacteria and fungus and killed 99% plus. Even we were not expecting the brushes to actually cure horses of skin infections but we already have 6 pages of testimonials. They kill microbes by stabbing them with tiny spikes, so there has to be physical contact as no chemicals released. Don't clean your brushes with bleach because this wears the spikes away.
