I'm after a couple of new grooming brushes. I prefer plastic ones that I can wash rather than leather or wood that split when they get wet.

I currently have bentley slip not pro brushes but having problems with my hands and grip, I'm finding they are getting difficult to hold comfortably and I tend to spend more time picking them up of the floor than actually using them!

I've spent the best part of a day traipsing around the local saddleries and looking on line for something better. But to no avail!

I've come across the KBF99 brushes and they look quite nice! I'm not interested in the antibacterial properties of them but I'm posting to see if any one on here has any and what they think of them regarding grippyness, shape and size etc...... Are they hard and smooth or do they have a rubbery texture?

I have the long and short bristle dandy brushes, I really like them. They are a good shape and size to keep hold of easily. They are a bit rubbery so nice and grippy, definitely not hard and smooth.

I have a full set (came free with H&H subscription) and find them brilliant for grip and ease of use - and I have small, severely arthritic hands. They are vaguely rubbery, rather than smooth, but don't seem to get grubby and scuffed like other 'rubbery' brushes. They have been in mmore or less daily use for 2yearsand are like new. Brilliant brushes!

I have the 'body brush', sweat scraper and mane/tail brush. I bought them as they're totally different to my other brushes which I use on the greys, but I find their body brush a bit tough! The bristles are more like a dandy brush, with their dandy brush like a water brush!

I have the full set - they are great brushes. Not sure if the antibacterial stuff actually works, but I like the idea of it anyway.
A friend bought most of them for me as a gift last Christmas - I was over the moon :)

I have a long dandy brush and a body brush and really like them. I have really small hands and the body brush has an elastic strap which sort of works (and all other straps are too long for me anyway!)

I have the set and love them too, find them better than the slip not brushes to hold and think they are great brushes, I sling them in the washer too. Not convinced on the antibac properties either, but looking to get more for my other horses
