Please keep them both in your thoughts.
Im sure that many people on here know what losing a horse feels like and know what it is like to have to make hard decisions for your horses.
Keep them in your thoughts and prayers in such a hard and sad time :(

Honestly cant say thank you enough, really helpin me through such a hard time wish i had u here when i ring the vet :(

Just think its so sad, especially because she is so young and sweet. Always seems to happen to things you value the most :( always happy to help. Lost a little one of mine last year and I dont think it ever gets easier :( literally like losing a part of yourself and equally as bad as losing a family member because your horses know you so well.
Hope it helps a little bit at least :\

Hope I haven't missed an important update, so apologies if i have, but as others have said earlier, on your original update post, there is still hope, it doesn't need to be the worst bad news, there is a glimmer of hope and like a falling star you have to believe, hope & make a wish...huge hugs to Athena & you, I really pray things are not as bad as they seem. I wish I knew about HHO when I lost Mai, Lucy & Blue, the support network on here is beyond awesome & pretty much 24/7. We have all been there and we all dread going again..but when others don't understand, you can guarantee here will be a kind, sensitive, sensible place to hide. I pray you won't need us this time, but we trully are all here. Be strong, for Athena xx

RB, I had the most awful time this year in the history of my being around horses... My beautiful girl who I had owned for 11 years... My absolute soul mate, got ill, and whilst we were struggling to find the cause and hopefully fight it, she suffered and deminished before my eyes, only to find out at the end of it that she was and always would have been terminal.... My point is, my strength came from the people on this forum, their advice, brainwaves, support, and general warmth and love of horses... It strengthens you when you face your nightmares. X thinking of you and Athena xx

Just of the phone with the vet, the cancer has already spread nd he said we cld start her on steroids bt be prePared to see her deteriate nd go weak. I am nt putting her thro tht for the same outcome. I know people hav said there is a chance she wil pull thro but if she doesnt she is gna b in pain nd miserable. Vet is comin at 3pm to hav her pts I plan gna spend as much time with her til then.

I cannot say thnk you enough everyone has been amazin nd it's nice to see the effect my beautiful filly had on people

Awful situation. Sounds like you are doing the right thing, although I know that doesn't make it any easier. Hope everything goes smoothly for you both.
