Keep thinking I need a nose job

Right I have a rather large nose, and working as a groom obviously I handle a lot of horses everyday. Non of them are rude or bolshy or in your face or anything, but I get continually whacked in the nose by a muzzle, which obviously hurts. I've always been a little insecure about it but do you think the whole "getting in the way" thing justifies a nose job?!?!

HA, you hav'nt seen the size of my nose, i used to think of having plastic surgery on it , but i'm 45 now and its still all there.Also i could never afford it.

I often think that but my Aunt says if I had surgury on it and something happened it would be harder to fix. She used to work as a nurse for a plastic surgeon but it was a while ago so things might have changed since then

I have the same problem, except I get muzzles scrapping across my boobs, looks like I'm wearing a mud tube top when I come home

you wouldn't be able to claim off of the NHS for that reason alone! But I think changing yourself like that is a bit extreme!! But it's upto you.

For the cost of a nose job you could buy a very nice horse and lets face it (no pun intended) a horse couldnt care what size your nose is !!!

Noses take a long time to heal so if it hurts now when it gets whacked... imagine how much it would hurt after surgery...ouch!!! Also, surgery isn't without risks. You have to be prepared for the fact that it might not be perfect, you could lose some sensation and it will be swollen for ages. However if you really want it doing I say go for it! Just be sure. If I had 4k spare I would buy another horsey!
