Hope its all gone well. I had to face the prospect of losing Asti at only 2 years as vet thought she'd fractured a bone in her foot... nope, v deep seated abscess, came out of coronet band instead of sole! - not apparent on nerve blocks whether it was abscess or bone... she was crippled with it too, and very suddenly.

Then last year she went what we thought was bridle lame - after a long dry spell, she'd been shod then it poured down for days, turns out her feet had swollen and her shoe had nipped one toe and it was rubbing causing intermittent and inconsistent lameness... farrier fixed that too!

So fingers crossed its something like that!
