Keeping greys clean

What do people use to remove stains from their greys, especially getting tails back to their natural colour?

i always find the purple tinted shampoos work well!

Fairy liquid for the tails!! Only thing that gets it brilliant white!!

I find the some shampoos work well on the body, its his tail that doesn't seem to want to come clean/stain free

Dont use washing up liquid near the dock!!!

Hilton herbs coal tar and neem or ocean blue shampoos are great on my grey's tail.

I recommend leaving the shampoo on for a few minutes before rinsing and repeating if necessary.

oakwood shampoo for greys works very well on my coloured! gets him sparkling! best to buy from places such as burgley as can be expensive on the internet.

Cowboy Magic white in yellow out works really well on my two grey tails.

It gets greys gleaming! It has 70% off at the moment so I have stocked up

For tails I soak in warm water and Persil for 10 minutes, Rinse and then re-wash with the above shampoo.

For white socks I use white Paste after shampooing with above shampoo

Warm/hot water for washing in, and with tails, frequent washing (at least once a week)

for quick fix i use a grooming block to get stains off then brush over with a dandy brush, not brilliant white but will do for hacking. I have heard that putting a few squirts of purple spray in a bucket of water and soaking the tail brings it up gleaming white, but im not sure about that one as we all know how purple spray stains everything. Has anyone else heard of that one?

If going to a show, and ya wanna cover white bits that might get dirty (like legs)

Talcum powed mixed with water into a paste, the paint it on, and brush off when u get there
