Keeping hat silks on HSi's!

Fabulous, thanks for all your replies! Mine is one of the earliest hsi and hardly any grip on it, compared to new silver ones! I've got the proper cotton lined treehouse silk and real velvet! I think I'm off to buy some Velcro!!

Looks like a common design fault!
 
A very quick QR - I haven't read any replies so apologies if this has already been suggested, but double sided tape? Run a length around the hat and then stick the silk on top? Might make it awkward if you want to change silks but better than loosing them.

Interested in this thread and will read the replies later. I'd planned to buy one of these from the Christmas Day looking-after-everyone's-horses-whilst-they-stay-at-home' money! (ah the joys of having a husband who's working XC day!!)
 
I initially just opted for the quick and easy option of wrapping some electrical tape over the silk to hold it onto my HS1. However, I have since neatened the look up by stitching a piece of ribbon onto either side of the silk and then tying these on to the harness straps. Means I can still take the silk off easily to wash etc, but stays on well otherwise. :)
