Hi my horse has slight arthritis in his hocks, just wondering if there is a hock boot or similar thats purpose is to keep the hock warm when out in the field in the cold winter days? Likewise can anyone recommend leg coverings to keep horses warm when turned out in the poor weather or any info regarding this? Im preparing for the poor weather coming! :)

I've had good results with an arthritic pony using neoprene turnout wraps / chaps - I think they were Sportabac ones. They definitely kept the joints warm on cold damp winter days when his arthritis was worst.

I use Back on track hock boots which are infused with ceramic particles giving off a type of heat known to be good for arthritis.

Can these be used for turnout and stable? how are they to wash? considering getting some for my girl but their quite expensive at £30 per boot!
