Keeping horses in?

Haven't horses survived very well for thousands of years in winds? Might not the stable blow down and crush the horse? I know of this happening, if the horse had been out, it would not have died. Horrid but just thought I'd mention it. My horses are out and will stay out in the gales we have here. They are 100% fine.

Ive also known of horses hit by flying debris and one crushed by a falling tree, i think its six and half a dozen, with personal preference tbh, but im glad mine are in.

Mine are in now, and look happy and calm. They went out this morning but the wind here is a bit extreme and there are tall trees all around.
It is my poor chickens I'm worried about. Their run is looking very fragile and I don't think they can turn the corner of the henhouse to get back inside!
