Looking for ideas. Have a farrier willing to make something from shoes, but completely stuck as to what to get and same with tail really. Not a big jewellery person but any ideas or business recommendations welcome.

Tail end jewellery. They can braid your horses tail into a shoe, not cheap but it’s a lovely Keepsake

I had a lovely fruit bowl made from a couple of sets of shoes I had from my big horse. I also got his headcollar brass name place added to it. He'd been retired years so I sent him 8 grim looking rusty shoes and the brass you couldn't even read the name it was so green! Fab job.

It's really nice and different.

My OH made a letter rack from a set of shoes from my pony. It lives on my desk and is forever used.

All Plaited Up are on Facebook. They make pictures from tail hair. This is my boy:1576260842108868.jpg
BL Sculptures make things from your horseshoes. Ben has done life sized sculptures of our dogs but this is my favourite possession; my pony's last shoe.

I haven't purchased one myself but I intend to - this company do resin horsehoes with flowers in, and can also include horse hair, ashes or the like. I think some of them are really beautiful.
I had a bracelet made from my old boys tail, but I don't ever wear it for fear of breaking it, so I think I may sent it off to have one of these made instead..

I got a horsehair ceramic tea light holder made for my sister with her horses hair. It’s an old Navajo technique I think that burns the hair into the ceramic in unique squiggly patterns.
