Just browsing through DD ( as one does ) and noticed there are only four adverts for horse's by KC... Curious as they usually have lots of adverts.

Yes.. Was on Watchdog last week and their Facebook page was getting lots of comments afterwards. My guess is they will go quiet and let the dust settle then get reborn under a different name.

Bit like the whole god aweful dealer up in Peterborough and the tic tock video.. dealer will go quiet and off the record and for some reason people seem to forget and they continue as if nothing has happened... sorry but it just really frustes me :(

Whole thread on here ..
Scum of the earth dealers

Do you think all dealers are bad? Why? I expect there are good and bad dealers, as theres good and bad are in all walks of life!
I think dealers often get blamed when actually its the customer who has an unrealistic view of their riding ability, and/or no knowledge of how to keep/manage a horse.

I think Daydream Dolly was referring to Kelly's Cobs in particular, of which there a been a recent, very long thread running about. Or that's the way I read it, albeit sans punctuation.

I'm aware of their recent appearance on Watchdog and the subsequent thread on here. However am surprised, having read Mr Thomases robust and convincing, ah hem  defence of his trade, that their adverts on DD are now so very few. I'm sure there used to be a lot more.:)

I havent read the thread or cast eyes on the watchdog programme.

I however have perused DD frequently and there are some good unhandled youngsters on there at great prices for what they are. Wouldnt be ashamed to say i had bought from that site, no different to me that the dealers on horsemart or horse quest.

There are good (although I have never met one!) and bad dealers just like there are good and bad everything. If I was a dealer with the reputation of this lot, I think I would go quiet as well. Its a pity they will probably come back with a different name, it will take a while for people work out who they are.

Oh yes, he was very convincing wasn't he... Totally won me round:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

KC advertise mainly on Horsemart. I've seen very few of their ads on DD - and I look on there a lot. TBH, there aren't as many complete novices buying from DD as there are on some of the 'posher' sites.

I'm not sure how they manage it but they seem to be able to get their ads in just about every Horsemart region, I've even seen them saying they're in Fife, even though when you click on website link, their address is S. Yorks.
