Well, things are moving on really quickly for me and me Kels.

Firstly, I handed the money over on Saturday so Kel's all mine now - woooooohooooo!!!

Last Friday I had a session with my new trainer. She's working with me on my confidence issues, and it went very well. I'm still not riding, as she thinks I need to build up more on the ground (god, I'm such a wuss - nervous about doing something I could do to competition level when I was younger

).

Today I finally got her into the yard at the end of my road on DIY. I spoke to the YO tonight, and she asked when we'll be arriving. I asked what I could do to hold the place as I might have a problem with transport, and she offered to go and collect her in her trailer - what a lovely thought! - so we go on Sunday morning. I can't wait!

So I just have to tell my farmer I'm leaving...

Yay things are certainly moving at quite a pace for you and Kelly

Don't be in such a rush to ride - there are times when this riding lark is over rated I can tell you. See my post below for details

Seriously though I would be guided by your trainer and wait til you feel confident about getting on board. Does your new yard have a school you can use?

Oh yes, we have a school!

And a nice big stable.

And the summer paddock's quite bare so she can't get any fatter than she already is.

And we can ride wherever we like once the hay crop's in.

And I can wave to her when I drive past the yard on my way to town.

And... and... and... oooooh!
