Hi, Stanley had the internasal KC vaccination last Thursday + his annual one. He's well in himself but has discharge from both eyes, it started at the weekend. I understand that the KC vacine can cause symptoms but it's nearly a week now. His eyes are just weepy, worse in the morning but he doesn't seem to be affected by the light or in discomfort. Thoughts, please.

I can't comment on the vaccination as I've no experience of the kennel cough vaccine but I've had two out of my three dogs with weepy eyes recently due to the dry weather. My vet has said he's seen a lot this year so could be totally unconnected to the vaccine and just a co-incidence possibly?

I'm still bobbing backwards and forwards to the vet with the old girl as her eyes haven't completely cleared. They're not in the least bit itchy for her though, just watery. It's still ever so dry here and dusty, even though we've had a few hours of rain, so they're not clearing up quickly.

One of my horses has weepy eyes, she tends to get it more this time of year i assume cause the wind blows her hair into the eye and irritates it, so shell have her winter plait in soon. Is he longer hairs?

I make sure there's no hair to irritate his eyes. He is better this morning, I know the KC vaccine can cause cld symptoms and I think this is what has caused it, just surprised it lasted so long. My horse also has weepy eyes despite wearing a fly mask, I'm also sure it's because it's been so dry and he's a bit of a tender flower!
