Kennels in Shifnal, Shropshire BBC news

There's a lot of questions to answer on this one. I've seen references on FB that there was previous RSPCA involvement a few years ago, following severe neglect and also disappearance of dogs that were boarded there as handbacks from a rescue (imported Eastern European dogs...) but it's unclear what if any action was taken at the time. The article also implies that there's no further police (and/or RSPCA) action to come for this incidence?

Without wishing to be insensitive, I did have a bit of an eyeroll at the fundraising request on one of the FB pages, they're trying to privately fund post-mortem and cremation for all of the dogs at £750 each (times nine); surely post-mortem of one/two and pursuing this through official channels i.e lobbying RSPCA is more appropriate.

Don't look it up on FB if you don't want to see pictures of the deceased animals.

I’ve seen a post this evening saying that “a company “ has offered to pay for all post mortems but yes , surely one or two would be sufficient.
Also gobsmacked by fb reviews from people saying they had doubts but still sent dogs back for boarding several times 🙄
