Kennels?

[ QUOTE ]
I agree with DM. Sheds are great for dogs! Lots of light and just cut out an opening in the side so that the dogs can get in and out. I had my dogs in a shed for a while before we had their kennels built - I decked it out with a bale of hay so it was always warm for them.......no sofa's or carpet for my dogs I'm afraid LOL!!

[/ QUOTE ]Well we didn't want a shed due to space issues unless it was at the top of the garden.. which I didn't want.. but we then decided on a location by the house.. so are off to purchase one on thursday!!

Where do you live?

We are in Darlington and we had one made by a garden furniture shop for £65, I can't remember what size it is exactly but my husband (6'6''), alaskan malamute (45kg) and fat ginger cat can all get in it together! Why I'm not sure but they do...

They make them to order and we are sooooo pleased with it.

I live down by Gatwick Airport.

I think we are now going to go for the shed option. But thanks

IMO the best (and cheapest ) option is to sit dodwn and think about what you really want, then build it yourselves!
You will never find exactly what you want in a pet shop,or if you do it will be too small. The timber will be pretty cheap from a builders yard and they will be able to advise you on what to treat wood with ect.

The shed is gunna be a challenge to motivate him to do it!! hehe!!
