Kent and Masters Cob Saddles (MGX)

Can anyone tell me, is there much difference in the panel length between the 17" and the 17.5"? I am trialling a 17.5" at the moment on my short backed cob, it doesn't feel like a 17.5" seat, and I am used to riding in a 16.5", I would normally swim in a 17.5! And is there a big difference between the Cob versions and the Pony Club Long leg 16.5"?

I can say 100% that the cob and PC trees are completely different trees and panel shapes. And yes, they ride small, all of them, I do suspect, when looking at photos, that in some models the 17.5 simply has extra cantle length, but I may be completely wrong, I don't fit them.
