Im not very good at saddle fitting!! Your saddle looks OK I think, does it need the fluffy? If your worried its a bit narrow and perched that will make it narrower. You have a beautiful position in it! Its not easy having a leg like that in a jump saddle :D. I love your horse too, gorgeous :)

exactly

lovely!

my friend has a K&M Cob saddle (gp) and loves it!!

fluffy =suffers from back problems bin told by phyisio she also suggested a leather saddle as will mould to my wonky donkey he not that bad but has her out every 8 weeks eak £££££ im off to yard will get a pic off it without any pads ect and see iff any one els replys thank about position i do like my saddle could do eith hands bit higher there :)

Not really possible to tell a lot with the sheepskin and polypad/thick numnah(?).

Photos with no padding from each side, front and back will be better :) Although would expect a bit of room without the padding if the saddle has been fitted with the padding in mind?

Ive got the K&M cob Gp and I love it, had it for a year now its really comfy and is soo adjustable its more like a made to measure for my cob.

I have the thorowgood T6, which is exactly the same but not real leather (you'd be hard pushed to tell though!).

Really nice saddle. Lovely soft moulding wide panels (materials soft), well designed tree and a well balanced seat.

I've got a K&M jump only had it a few weeks but really like it. Feels good to jump in and dont seem to have any probs on the flat. We tried a Wintec but it lifted off his back and was just to curved.
I used to have a Ideal grandee with large jump knee and thigh blocks. Probally one of the nicest saddles ive ridden in, great to jump and very comfy, loved it gutted when it didnt fit my new horse. Might be out of your price range new thou.

From photo 2, the front looks too narrow and yes, the back seems to rise up, which will be more obvious when the horse is moving without a rider and without a numnah. Its a common problem with that make of saddle imo, because of the shape of the tree. Also, if you need a saddle to mould to asymetries then cair (if it is cair) isnt the best choice as it cant be adjusted and tends to be on the firm side.

I would recommend trying a kent and masters, they are well designed saddles.

You can't really tell much at all from those pics - if you take a photo to show whether a saddle is tipping back or forwards you need to include the whole horse and the ground so you can see whether it is level with the ground :). And yes, photos from side and front firmly girthed with no pad are ideal, from the back doesn't tell as much, just gullet width (gullet is the gap in between the panels all the way through despite the changeable headplates being called gullets) and panel angle, the latter being really tecchy saddle fitting stuff :)
