It is a lovely jump saddle, hardly used. but I think I need a bigger one, this one is 17inch and I am not small and have long legs. sometimes I feel like my knees come over the front. I don't think they actually do, just feels like it

But just not sure what to do or even if I did how much to ask for it

any thoughts?

Does it have the removeable knee rolls like the gp version? If so it is worth having a play around with them? Even if you need more space, can your horse take a longer saddle or would you need a more forward cut saddle (assuming he doesn't have big moving shoulders)? Perhaps just have a chat with your saddler, if the knee rolls aren't moveable they can still be adjusted by a saddler and perhaps made smaller or a diff shape which might buy you a bit of space?

I've got the same saddle - 17 K&M jump. I don't have long legs, but don't like my knees being fixed, so I got some GP knee blocks (the bates ones fitted fine), and now find it much more comfortable than the big jumping knee blocks they came with. Now I find it really comfy.

I have a K&M jump but a 17.5 and it took a while to get the blocks in the right place, i felt that i couldnt get my stirrups short enough or my knees where popping over the blocks. Im still tempted to get some smaller jump blocks rather than flatter ones so they take up less room under the knee rolls and sit higher up.
I would have a play round with them or even change the type or take them out completely and see how you get on.
