I'm thinking off buying a new Kent and masters jumping saddle. IT will be 17" med to fit a 15.1 Arab,tb,connie. I have been Recommeded the s series jump. Just wonderedd if any one has one? And if so what's it like?
I think the K+M S series jump is the same as the Fairfax jump because this has been discontinued and its the same company. It looks the same to me. I have a Fairfax jump and it is really decent, really blocky, I do recommend them.
I have a Kent and Masters jump saddle but cant remember the series sorry. I do like it, its very comfy, i find the blocks are not as "blocky" as i'd like. I also find that i have to ride slightly longer than i prefer in order to sit correctly in it. I know thats not really making much sense but i feel if i ride short (which i usually do) i feel unless i force myself into position my natural way to sit in it would be leaning forward with my lower leg thrown back almost (think correct position but whole on the tilt!!!)
Its suggested to me by another saddler that this is a common problem as the seat is fairly deep so often its best to go a half inch seat size bigger than normal- too late for me as its bought and used!
Over all i would recommend one as long as you try it out well before hand and be sure it suits you, if it does its a fab saddle!
