Im looking at getting the GP thoroughbred one- which tbh is quite forward cut anyways. Hope its as nice as everyone says as I have ridden in a Thorowgood and hated it!

I've got the Jump one and I really like it, fits my TB well who has a big (but not really high) wither, and quite a big shoulder. I can't remember exactly what my saddler said but I think the bar or tree or something is cut away from the shoulder, to allow movement when jumping etc, so it doesn't interfere like many saddles do- thumbs up from me! :)

As in that no saddle fits every horse, no saddle fits (read that as suits) every rider either. Yes, there are better ones, but I can't fault my K&M.:D

I'm trying a kent and masters Gp jump? The saddler was very positive about this make, as she's young it's apparently a nice light saddle and can be altered? Which is also a nice option with horses who change shape often. Apparently also very comfy to ride in! Can't wait till thursday to get it!

I currently have the thoroughbred one for my boy and love it! Very comfy, he goes lovely in it and he changes shape on a regular basis so is fab for him.

I also used to have the jump one and again I loved it :)

Ah I hope I have the same view that you do, they do look nice x

If your worried about feeling far away from the horse I have found that they fit best with as little padding as possible.
Currently I don't use a numnah but use a high wither pad, then at shows I use a very thin numnah. I have found that by using normal thickness numnahs it doesn't feel as nice. Hope you like it though :)
