What do you guys think about these? I have been thinking about getting one. (also the website says not to use any oil based soaps on it, so what would I use to condition it?)

I think Kent and Masters is great quality for the money. Many available second hand too. I really wanted one of their dressage saddles to work for me, and the one I tried fit my horse, but I did not like it. I rode in a friend's K&M GP saddle and didn't mind that. So I would see if you can sit in one, although I am really picky about the right feeling in a dressage saddle.

At the time I ended up with a Fairfax Gareth. I only use warm water and Rapide as recommended.

I really am not a fan, I find them really difficult to ride in almost like they’re impossible to sit in the right place in. Possibly doesn’t suit my body type but every time I’ve ridden in one I’ve felt like I’ve been sat really awkwardly.
For the money I would buy a better make second hand x

The first question to ask is, will it fit your horse? The tree and panel have to be the right shape to begin with, the adjustable width is only a tiny part of saddle fitting. The brand as a whole does tend to ride a little small in the seat (partly because of the shape, even the flatter cob tree is a little V shaped) so worth bearing in mind too.

I have tried one on her and it fit her nicely. I'm wondering about how good the leather is. I have seen other old threads about one of the saddles, and people were saying that the leather was not the best quality. It was about the jumping saddle though.

They're not bad value, the leather is what it is, you do get what you pay for on the whole (certainly with English saddles).
