Hello, god I haven't posted in a while! I'm based in the Cranbrook area of Kent, and I've (finally!) got a new horse arriving soon.

Does anyone have any personal saddler/farrier recommendations please? I don't know the area at all, so also any good hacking routes/nearby comp venues would be much appreciated too! Oooh and tack shops...feel a spree coming on...

Cheers guys

Charity Farm in Cranbrook is essentially a feed store, but also does a good range of tack and accessories, although is not a proper saddlery.

As for farriers, I would second the recommendation of Sterns - they have a very good reputation in the area.

Spragg Saddlery in Surrey (01737 354742) are very good. They come out to Kent/Sussex/Hants/Berks as well so maybe try them as they do onsite reflocking as well as new/used saddles. Richard is very knowledgeable. Good luck
