well done to them although it is a sad reflection on the sport these days that you can take long routes at a fourstar and still win, cos brit will have a fence in hand now at least.....

But if anyone's going to do a long route quickly it's Brit- she turns sharper than most.
Good point, The time doesn't seem too tight at all.
Was hoping Lucinda would have a few more time faults so that cockatoo would stay in front. Nothing against Brit but the way LF talks about her puts me right off.
Surely it just shows what pure class Brit is? She can go long routes but still do the time?! She must have moved pretty fast and done some mega tight turns to get that time - there have been a fair few getting time penalties.
i love brit, we go way back but i am a bit old fashioned and just think at this level long routes should be long and a horse that goes clear and direct should always finish in frnt of one that plays a it safe. however considering all the people i advised to buy her before she even won blenheim, i shall have alovely time reminding them if she trots up ok tommorow. Brit might have one fence but i cant seee her having two.
Very fair point and i would be the first person to agree with that if anyone else apart from Brit was concerned!!!
It would be interesting to see the time pen's anyone else accrued (sp) going the long routes Lucinda did - having a smaller more flexiable horse must make some sort of difference?
