Kentucky SJ Thread!

Just got in for the last couple of rounds, brilliant result, and so great on a homebred mare,. Someone should tell Mary she should be slowing down at her age :p

So Mary's doubters will be kept at bay, maybe she was right to feel confident of a team place (though I don't think she was overconfident about it).

Fairplay to Yogi too as his decisions have been questioned but he is building real strength and depth within the team.

Finally, well done to the Brits all of their horses finished looking really well after a long journey!

Roll on 2012:D:D:D

I don't think anyone deserves such a result as Mary, so pleased for her. What a fantastic couple of weeks she's had, looking very hopeful to have a spot on the olympic team now!! :)

Yes, worth the poster who said the other day that eventers can not be at the top level at that age, first Mark Todd now Mary :D

Joining this thread late in the day and only managed to catch the last 2 rounds on NBC but so, so happy to see Mary King 1st and 2nd. :D What a result! If she doesn't get a place on the Olympic team it will be a travesty! She is such a role model for the sport of eventing. So pleased for her.

and don't worry teapot- you're not the only one sat here crying :p
