Keratex hoof hardener - any good?

yes i use the hardener and gel - brilliant stuff. My horses hooves split when using normal hoof oil

Not the frog or coronet, just walls and sole, very good stuff.

Yes!!!! Just dont get it on your skin or your boots (I have ruined a pair of leather boots cos I spit mine

yep great worth the money got directions for applictaion inside although farrier did tell me can put on every day if ness.

God - YES - its fab stuff. My mare is barefoot on her back and it works brilliantly. Well worth the money and does last a while.

It did nothing for Maiden's feet. If anything they got worse! Although that could have been the drier weather... anyway I am now using Cornucrescine (on coronet band) and biotin (in food) to get her hooves to grow better, to stop the damn things from getting bad in the first place rather than harden them once they're cracking.
Oh and I can't stand the smell of Keratex, but I acutually am coming round to the Cornucrescine smell!

Thanks, i've been using it for a week as horse been missing a front shoe, seems to have worked a treat - just for the record!
