I've heard so many good things about Kerrits & am in desperate need of some new breeches / riding tights so thought it may be the perfect time to add this to my christmas list! :o
I've never seen them in the flesh and there are so many different types to choose from - for those of you who have them, which are your favourite? Are there any you would avoid?
And how is the sizing?
Thank you! x

I remember these tights being discussed on here in the past, in the meantime, might a search provide some tips?.
I have a pair and they really do provide a secure feel in the saddle,
Hope you decide to go for them!

I have the alpha tights - mega thin but heardwearing! Feels like i am wearing tights in the summer there is so little to them! I originally bought the adult SMALL, but then got kiddies XL and they fit me better plus they were much cheaper!

Really want a pair of their super snug ones... May also pop them on my Christmas list!

I've got three types of Kerrits jods, all bought this year.

Firstly, if you are after extra grip when riding - yes, they are superb. Really do make a difference. Much better than any of the 'regular' cheaper 'sticky bum' jods I've tried. I feel so much more comfortable, secure and confident riding in the Kerrits (I am out of practice and riding a big, bouncy youngster!)

Fit wise, if you're larger (UK 16+) then the best type for genuine comfortable accommodating stretch would be the Sit Tight N Warm ones. Definitely the most giving and stretchy. They're also extremely comfortable and very warm. Can recommend them for cold, windy days. I've also got the normal Sit Tight ones and a pair of Light Sit Tight ones. These are grippier still, than then Sit Tight N Warm ones, if that's a factor you're after but whilst the material is still stretchy, it is has much less give. The sizes in these ones are far less accommodating and don't expect to be able to squeeze into a smaller size. I'd say the UK sizing on these is accurate, whilst the Sit Tight N Warm ones allow for a bit of extra stretch for those of us that need it at times!

I've gone a size down in them and the fit is much better, they are generally hard wearing and wash up well however they do snag more easily than some other johds due to the material they are made of.
They are the most comfortable johds ever as they are so stretchy.
I have two pairs of breeches, I love the grips at the bottom and the sit tight and warm breeches are much better than anything similar on the market.

They are great jods - once you have them everything else feels uncomfortable. Unfortunately Three Lows Equestrian are the only suppliers in this country and their customer service isn't great. They don't communicate very welll but are very quick to take your money.
