Day off today. Horses done, shopping done, dogs walked. All by 8 o'clock this morning. It's raining and miserable outside, so I thought I'd treat myself to a little cooked breakfast. Oven roasted vine tomatoes a couple of large mushrooms and a poached egg. Decided to slob it in the sitting room with a tray, catch up with a bit of TV. I realised I'd left my toast in the kitchen, so put tray on the coffee table, went to get toast. Came back into the sitting room, to see both the dogs leaning over the coffee table, back legs on settee, front legs on tray, eating my breakfast :(. They did look a bit embarrassed to be caught out and moved away pretty quick. Was it awful that for a split second I thought of continuing to eat what was left :o, but ended up chucking it away. Oh well, the toast was nice.

OH dear...are you sure they haven't been e mailing their friend Poppy...? LoL

Years ago I was bringing in shopping when the phone went...I answered the phone and when I got back to the shopping found my chi looking like a barrel....shed got into a bag, undid a plastic wrap on a pork pie and devoured the lot!!!!The pie was almost as big as she was....
Worst thing for you is you have TWO partners in crime....hope you still had a nice day though.

You have a way to go to catch up with my neighbours greedy oversized cat

who helped himself to and ran off with the Xmas turkey...

Luci07 that's hilarious! BSL, you should know by now never to leave any food within reach no matter how quick you plan to be! You could always have my dog though, who just opens the fridge and helps himself :rolleyes3:

I can't believe I was so daft :). Yours sounds like a right character.

Ha ha - if they can reach it it's fair game!

Like the glass of red wine I had in my hand that my Sec D decided to put his tongue in...

This time last year we had a litter of rescue lurcher pups that we were fostering - 12 of them! On Christmas day mum let herself out of a locked crate and ate everything I had prepped including the turkey and raw sprouts! Fortunately the raw potatoes were in the pan or it could have been an expensive vets trip...

Our youngest Spin ate a pan full of chicken in black bean sauce while it was still cooking on the hob, OH had gone to the looyou never ever leave food unattended with her in the room.

Ha ha I have a wine rack screwed to the wall that alternated between wine and horse boots - must get a pic. It wasn't unattended - it was in my hand and he near enough wrestled me for it lol
