I just bought a tub of Kevin Bacon hoof dressing as it was recommended by a friend.

On opening it has the consistency of potato soup. Is this normal? I am used to either oil or a more solid grease with a consistency similar to vaseline or firmer. This is literally like potato soup - liquidy and grainy. It has been over 30 degrees here so I wondered if this made a difference.

Yes thats normal, the consistency can change with the temperature/weather, it will go quite solid in the winter. They do do it in liquid form too which is why I used that. Keratex hoof balm is also great and smells lovely
