Keyhole spays

I'm interested in this as I will be having my border terrier spayed later this year. (She's currently in her first season since we've had her.) I had no idea keyhole surgery was available for this. Surely the recovery must be much quicker and easier for the dog (as it is with human keyhole surgery.) There may be some downsides, of course.

I wouldnt keyhole spay, the only reason I want to spay is to eliminate pyo, keyhole doesnt so I cant see the point
