keysoe report!

hi guys
i went to keysoe today to jump 2 horses, one in the BN and Disco and the other has had time off so i jumped the 95cms.

BN first ( Robbie) , was two phase, jumped clear in first phase and was clear in 2nd but i couldnt get him to change leg coming to the last, so, as he is a baby i asked for a trot change. went into trot, re asked for canter and he wouldnt! so ended up trotting to it and having it down

was not impressed as it would of been his 4th DC as well!!

95cms next (Sniff) as the angel he is jumped a perfect DC, coming 5th, no money but he has just had a 6 week break! i love my horse!!!

Disco ( robbie again) 15 in it 7 clears including me (yay!) went 4th in jump off and there were no clears and everyone was having the same fence, the first part of the double, so i went in and my horse jumped fab and went clear!

last 3 went in and none went clear so i WON it!!!!!!!!!!!
am pleased as its my first win on this horse, he jumped amazing, and it was his 2nd attempt at Disco and he has gone DC both times!!!
clever horsey.

Def quieter than sunday...15 in Disco on wednesday vs 20 odd double clears in 95open on sunday. Me thinks I picked the wrong day to compete.

it was quiet which was nice but it was really nice to see more experienced horses having poles!
mine is so spooky he just goes higher at something he doesnt like which was perfect for yesterday!

A very late report! 2 DCs so very pleased as got his 4th DC at BN and 4th place (they only placed to 4 as not too busy). 95cm was a bit hair raising and he was tanking so brought him back to trot in the j/o just to teach him some manners, which probably cost me a placing but thrilled anyway as Saturday fell off at Merrist Wood when he jumped me out the saddle!
