It has won JD Power's best 4x4/towing vehicle. It will tow up to 3 tonnes and is fantastic for towing.

I had one from the garage when mine died - it was lovely to tow with. It felt quite effortless. With big trailer and big horses (large Equitrek - 1 x 18hand and 1 x 16hand beast)

Tow a 510 with mine, have been all over the place and its fab.
The only downside is that the two bar on the Sorento is a little low so wee doesn't run out the back if they decide to go!

we,ve had the sorrento from new 2003 its a superb tow vehicle , and a comfy ride for the passengers , cant fault it in any way , its shortly up for sale sadly due to purchasing a lorry to carry our expanding amount of horses lol , pm me any one who happens to be looking for one

To be honest.... I am the only person in the world that isnt completely happy with mine
It is jerky when towing.... a sort of jerking that would be caused by towing a large vat of water... a sort of lagging and pulling back on the trailer.
It does tow fine but isnt a nice ride.... you end up feeling sort of seasick.
But.... the trailer has been checked and serviced (nothing wrong) and the car has been checked and nothing found.... so at the moment it is under investigation
