Does anyone regularly change kibble?

Not because there are any concerns with the current kibble. Just to give the dogs something different, new protein sources blah blah.

I just read that it is recommended to switch up regularly?

No, I keep the same kibble and use various things as toppers. Tuna in water, natures menu hunters pouches,(different flavours) cooked chicken if I’m feeling generous, pilchards in tomato sauce , sardines in olive oil etc

I tend to do the toppers thing too or make up frozen kongs with different stuffings. That said Millies Wolfheart told me I can use the current kibble our dog has interchangably with another flavour so I might mix it up next time and go for the other one. Her weight has improved so much since we got her it's less of a worry now should it start to drop with a change.

No, I stick to the same one. But do add other things like fresh meat, fish, veg etc to add a little variety.

I mix it up. Years ago a breeder told me all kibbles are better in some areas than others, so changing gives you a better chance of covering nutrient deficiencies.

I try to rotate both protein sources and brands, so that their gut microbiome is more varied and that in the event there is an issue with one manufacturer they are less likely to have been that food for a significant amount of time (like the over supplementation of a vitamin in usa for example)
