Thank you to everyone who refused to kick my bum, but were just plain old supportive instead, was mucho appreciated.

Anyway, little Annie has had 3 loose schooling/jumping sessions now and it's been very instructive.

First one, bit of madam-itis but main thing noticed that didn't really want to stretch over his stomach. Only little x poles. Hmmmm we thinKs, girth issue?

Second one, no jumps just loose schooling, she seemed happier but a proper lazy toad.

Well today! Soon as she got in the paddock she knew what to do and was off! Ears pricked, forward, really stretching over the jumps, in fact disgusted by x poles and insisted on going over the blocks instead! A very happy horse.

Put saddle on. Annie still went but really shut down, lost forward ness and stretch. Ears back. Very obvious change in her going. Question still whether saddle or girth, so took saddle off and loosened her up naked before putting roller on, and we did the girth quite tight to see. No change, happy pony happily taking herself round.

Well. So saddle it is, or at least part is. Very relieved, may be expensive but sortable. And it was lovely to see her enjoying her work. Such lift! She was still full of cheek, but happy playful cheek that makes you laugh and not madam-itis.

So will chase saddle man to confirm saddle appointment and wait to see what the dentist says, but I spy light!

Watching her today, can't wait to sit on her over fences. :D
Toffee apple brothers cider all round, nom nom :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think one of those roller things with stirrup attachments is as close as I'd like to get till we know the bouncing on the spot has stopped. She's very wide I'd just slide off
