Well doing a skip before feeding about 6pm tonight and my two boys were fighting over the stable doors with each other - I am walking past the box rest babe with the skip bucket in hand just as he launches at my other lad and i feel a "kick up the ass!" - it was not a very hard kick but fortunalty the skip bucket took the brunt of it and gave him a shock. I shouted at him and he has had a bit of ground work done with him to remind him that I am boss - and i do not mean beating up - i mean i am here i will touch you here, here, here and here and you back up when i am in your space etc!
Now do i give him the benefit of the doubt and put it down to 3 weeks box rest and me just being in the wrong place at the wrong time - or do i rule him with a rod of iron for a few months - just to make sure? I have had him about 10 months and he has never ever raised a hoof to me and i have never even worried that he would - until tonight
what do you guys think?
