Last October I went out and after much travelling and a failed vetting or two - finally bought Will a nice little 14hh competition pony. Not hughely expensive but fab paces & scopy. He did BYRDS and is in line for PC dressage teams.
In the meantime his brother who rarely rides was bought a cheap cob from JM7 who is green but utterly dependable.
Younger brother has now given up and which pony has Will decided he wants to keep - flashy comp pony or hairy fun cob......... think you've guessed it!!!

JM's cob.
If he is anything like as good for fun, as the one I had from her I bet he's a total star.

LOL@Will, typical! At least he still wants to ride though, and if he's having fun, well, that's gotta be worth it? Until he gets ultra-competitive and starts asking for a JRN horse....

*should have listened to Bossanova*

Oh btw, Friday's fine and I'll probs bring Dazzle too as Mel wants to come watch

After he gave up jumping from field to go visiting the ladies he has become a pretty perfect pony. It's impossible to find fault with him and he has the added bonus of a huge jump, which is one of the real reasons Will is so keen...

I am really looking forward to him hunting him this winter, he's doing the ode at west wilts in JUly. According to Colin(farrier) we must hunt with the Avon Vale and we must go to the hunt balls as they are ace.......

ok clever clogs....
We had a blast through the fields tonight, Shads was thinking he'd died and gone to heaven - all this attention
