Kids not wearing riding hats (sorry a rant)

It never fails to amaze me how stupid some people are. Not only could they end up with a dead or permanently braid damaged child but the rest of society will end up paying for the care of them - (if they survive) as a result of the stupidity of the parents. Some people are completlyb irresponsible and should not be allowed to breed.

What your yard owner needs to know is that if there is an accident as a result of one of their clients not wearing a riding hat they can be deemed responsible and suffer the consequences. The yard owner should ensure that all clients are aware that they must wear a riding hat when riding, lunging or loading a horse on the premises and they must be seen to enforce it.

Both the Health and Safety Executive or the individual who had the accident could take action against the yard owner. The yard owner should also have third party liability insurance in place etc as if they don'tv they could loose everything.

The need to wear hat,BP and hi viz have been drilled into him so well he even told a police woman off for taking her hat off last summer The look on her face when confronted by an irate 4 year old telling her her head would go splat and her parents would be soooooo cross was pretty damn funny

Some people are just beyond belief! If the want to look "profesh" then i have always though the velvet, leather strap ones are verrryyyy nice!
