Kieffer saddle trees

Ok, so im going to get my boy a kieffer dressage saddle as im abit fed up of changing saddles when hes body weight changes, i was told that the tree in kieffer can be changed by width, how much can it be changed? Could a medium be changed to an extra wide? x

Hi I am also thinking of buying a Kieffer saddle as my 4 yr old is obviously going to change shape in the next couple of years.
As far as I can tell the width of the tree can be changed from narrow through to wide - dont know if xwide etc. Kieffer trained saddle fitters can heat up the tree in a special bench and widen it/narrow it. The Kieffer Saddle tree can be changed but only a certain number of times (I was recommended about 5 times) as every time it is heated to change it it weakens the tree the bit. I would get a saddler out to look at them carefully. The other saddle is Albion with the Genesis tree which is more adjustable than the kieffer. Hope this helps.
