Hello!!!

Has anyone ridden in one or both of these saddles and what do they feel like? I'm looking for one which will help me most with my position :)

I had a Piet, lovely saddle and very light, but I found I tipped forward in it, and some of my friends also found the same.
The quality of the leather was lovely and was a really nice quality saddle.

I had a 2nd hand US one, quite flat, ie minimal knee rolls, compared to many modern saddles, nice seat. Nice thing about Kieffer is tree is adjustable by a good saddler, and leather is very hard wearing.

I have a Piet and love it. It's like an armchair! Puts me in a lovely position(haven't found that i tip) and anyone who's ridden in it comments on how comfy it is too. Beautiful leather and a real piece of craftsmanship. (When I first got it,I used to occasionally stand in the tack room and just look at it admiringly(nutter!)) ;)

It must just be me then, but since I have changed my saddle my position has improved ten fold.
But having said that I would have no hesitation in recommending it, I think because it is to light certainly compared to the Albion Slk I had I would think nicer for the horses back too.

thanks for the comments guys! Very interesting! Halfpast, what saddle did you switch to after Piet? Any more insight into US? From the pics it actually looks like having big knee rolls, so I'm a bit confused now :)

I have a Nick Creaton saddle and it is just lovely., the Knee rolls on the Piet from memory certainly didn't feel huge or bulky again less so than my Albion.

Is there any way you can try before you buy?
