18 month ban, enforced world wide on racing after testing positive to cocaine.

He's to appeal, but if it stands, he can't race until August 2009. What does it mean for his career do you think?

Over?

Well, he'll be getting on a bit to get back to the top in race riding I would have thought, even if it's only on fitness alone. In that time, other jockeys will have taken his place and he'll find it hard to be accepted again I think. I mean would you trust him with your racehorse if there was the slightest chance he had been 'partaking' again because, let's face it, if he hasn't got to be disciplined enough to stay fit, can you guarantee he'll stay clean for that banned time? I wouldn't like to place a bet either way on that one but being stupid enough to do it while he was at the top of the tree in his sport, I can't see him mending his ways. Quite sad really but it has been self inflicted so only himself to blame.

Lester made a come back after his jail sentence for tax fraud and was older than Fallon will be when his ban ends.Dean Gallagher is riding again after his drugs ban so who knows. It depends if he gets the rides really. It is sad but you wonder what goes on in his head.

I think he has got off lightly, he is always up to no good, race fixing, drugs, over use of the whip! why should he be allowed to come back when he refuses to play ball and stick to the rules like the rest of them and whats more I saw him in the enclosures talking to his stable hand and he was a nasty piece of work to her! he should have a prison sentence and have to share a cell - see how 'small' he feels then!!!

I think the guy is a complete t*sser to be honest. Arrogant, ignorant, thinks he can break the law and get away with it. And isn't overly nice to people or horses if the things that get said about him are true. (Don't know if they are or not, but you do hear quite a bit of negative comments about him).

Lots of people would give their right arm for the opportunities he has had, and would have been grateful.

Sorry, rant over!
