Hi, I wonder if anyone out there can help? I have a super NF pony with the Knightwood prefix - I am trying to find out a bit more about her breeding - her sire is Maytree Sultan -.
I would love to hear from anyone who knows about these two lines in particular - the usual searches have told me a little bit but I would love to hear from anyone who has a NF with similar breeding.
I will respond with photos of my very capable little mare who has been Best Of Breed NPS Scotland Performance NF for the last two years as well as being a general all round great pony!:)

Please please please!!!!

Don't know much about Maytree, but the Kightwood lot come with a very good reputation...or at least they did. I have an NF mare and did the showing scene around 5-10yrs ago and Knightwood was definitely a prefix that made me quiver if they were in the ring with me...damn them! Lovely line.

Have you tried contacting the New Forest Pony Enthusiasts or the New Forest Pony Publicity Group? Probably be able to point you in the right directions for more info on both!

Your pony's Breeder (Pam Harvey Richards) died earlier this year sadly. I would suggest a call to the Breed Society would probably give you the most information. The wealth of knowledge out there on NF pony bloodlines is frightening! If they don't know, they will certainly know someone who does.

Thanks very much _ I will get in touch with the publicity group. Its a prefix you don't see much of now and I was just interetsed in a bit of background on either line really. Superb pony, great fun full of character and pretty capapble too!
