Hi all!

I have just managed to get some papers for my boy (below) and I am trying to find out more about his Sire and Dam and was wondering whether anyone knows them and whether Romeo has good lines or not?!!

Sire = Orbis TB (USA). His sire is Conquistador Cielo (USA)

Dam = Kilcashel Lady (ISH) (studbook). Her Sire = Knockboy (RID 700), Her Dam Ballingary Nancy.

I know all this may be very boring if its not your horse but any knowledge of them is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

our late stallion was by Knockboy and we met him in Ireland a few years before he died. He was a 16.2 hh grey stallion with good straight paces and a temperament to die for.
Knockboy also sired Seacrest, who in turn produced Cruising, the highest money winning ID there has ever been on the world sj circuit. (number 2 at one stage)
I bet your mare can jump, and loves it...
If you go to the blog in my profile and look in the archives there are loads of horses related to Knockboy..you will see a similarity to your mare.

Orbis stands at a stud beside me and I know of a good few horses in the area by him. He has bred quite a few good jumpers and eventers. PM me if you want and I can give you his owners details if you want to get in touch with him. You could also check out the irish horse board website or the irish field directory website as they should have details on him. As far as I remember from when I saw him, hes 16.2 brown/dark bay tb and had won about 10 races with some decent winnings. I think he produces quite good horses when crossed with ID or ISH mares.
