Just seeing if anyone is in the Kilkenny area and could tell me what the riding terrain is like there?

Are you planning on moving? It's like most places in Ireland, there are no bridleways so you need to pick somewhere with quiet roads. If you're visiting for a holiday then Mount Juliet is good for hacking. It's a nice enough county though (I don't live there I just visit occasionally for work).

It's much like the rest of the country really (I don't live there either, but likewise have often passed through, and worked, there). Not overly hilly, lots of fields, lush grass, etc.

I’ve lived in rural Kilkenny for 30 years, no bridleways at all! Such a shock after the UK.
