KILL YOUR SPEED NOT MY HORSE

Good Idea,

It really sad is how common post like that accident or near misses have become posted on the forum just resently, and how drivers respond. I can remember my horse refusing to load to go home at a local show and having to ride home with my dad following us. I got abuse screamed at me from other drivers and had cans and bottles throw at us. I was 14 and the road i was hacking down had three livery yards on it.

Thats so sad and one reason I hate riding on theroads - I would never forgive myself if anything happened to my lad. It astounds me that riders continue to take risks - just the other day I passed a girl I know, riding her dark bay, dressed in black and navy, texting as she hacked down a tree-covered narrow lane at 6am (when still dusky). I only saw her at the last minute and wasn't going fast! She doesn't realise how lucky she was!

My mum told me a story about one of her friends was riding her pony (This was obviously a loooong time ago) and a lorry ran them over

So sad, I can honestly say I have had my fair share of ignorant drivers

I think drivers avoid my pony since she reared and came down inches from this guys car, his own fault of course if she had dented it

But yeah drivers just arnt considerate of riders/horses
