Kimblewick or equiv?

Does anyone know if you can get a French Link Kimblewick? if not, has anyone any suggestions for a similar bit, but not as strong as a Pelham

I used a Kimblewick but without the port on my eventer. Took forever to find one but worked like a treat.

I've seen kimberwicks with french links but they're a bit few and far between. Try bitbank maybe or if your heading to badminton soon.....theres nothing you can't find in those trade stalls

I use a myler kimblewick which has a rolling lozenge in thr middle instead of the french link - I find it a great bit.

The other option is to try a Myler Kimblewick, low port. We are into the second week with this bit and so far i am really pleased with it and my pony seems very happy and comfortable in it.

I have a fun ride on Sunday which put it through the last test, but so far i am really pleased. Hacked out alone, in company and had a jumping lesson in it. I am now considering to buying a dressage legal myler for dressage and schooling as he appears that comfortable.

Just read ann-jen reply, i think we are talking about the same bit.
