Kind eye????

Do you consider yourself as "overweight"?

I know some people don't like blue eyes as think they look evil, just interested in peoples opinions in general!!

I love BLUE eyes, we almost brought a cob (called Dave) that had blue eyes when we brought Blackie, he was just a bit more lively then Blacks so didn’t in the end.

It is not the colour of the eye itself but the amount of white showing around it, so in the first pic her eye is pale but still has not much white around it = kind eye.

I know, but look the majority are still swayed into thinking the Blue one is less kind than her rather attractive Brown [one (guess which side most photos get taken from)!!!

No really.... she does have kind eyes, its far more to do with the shape of the eye for me, not the colour. She has nice big interested eyes, not horrid little piggy mean ones!!

I have just sold a pony with the most beautiful blue eyes (not wall eyes, blue) and when we sent him to a professional to be broken to harness he (the traine)couldn't get along as well as normal because he said it gave the pony an evil look. Most people thought they looked very kind and gentle though.

i don't "do" wall-eyes....

would rarely buy a pony with one..unless they were very cheap or very special

we had a pony with 2 wall eyes both a peircing blue. he always looked like he had been startled by something. i loved them but very hard to sell him when we outgrew him (he was 14h) people don't seem to like them

Nor do I, or coloureds, I wanted a chestnut welsh D..........Ho Hum handsome is as handsome does, plus she is a keeper, so no worries about having to try and sell on!!!

i am not a fan of blue eyes! i love coloured cobs but when i was looking for a horse i looked closely at the photos to see if they had blue eyes as i just dont seem to look at them the same, shallow i know but its just the way i am i find them quite scary

how can you tell if a horse is 'kind' by their eyes..?? I'm confused.

The first eye looks looks so different because of the white around it... still beautiful though

I'm sorry, I just not a wall eye kind of kid, I almost didn't go and look at Oshk because I thought he had one

Your horse does have kind eyes, regardless of the colour, my lad has a lovely kind eye, but his left eye has a lot of white on it and looks fierce.

My farrier has a JRT with one brown and one blue eye, she rather cute. Generally I don't do blue eyes in any animals (love blokes with blue eyes though)!!!

I always thought that they were nasty and a bit common until I got Daisy. I don't think they suit alot of horses but she is generally quite stunning so I think it just adds to her character. My OH says that it is her "evil" eye though
