Kind,Generous OH's & Their Good Deeds?? & Not so Kind OH's/Exes??!

Thanks guys , I know from being on here , That although we can all have our problems and squabbles with our OH's and others, HHO really highlights how there are soo many Lovely , Nice, kind , Thoughtful and generous Guys and OH's out there , and I seem to have found myself a pretty rubbish one !!!

I know we can be like different people , not joined at the hip and its good to have seperate hobbies etc and we do and I Have previously with past Boyfriends etc , but as you guys are saying he is quite resentful of my horses and their costs and my time spent with them etc , and I dont EXPECT taht he should pay my vets bills or buy my horse back for me, but if it was vice versa I would def help him out , if and when I do have the money , depending on the amount , as a gift or as a loan that I know he would repay me .

And I think after 2 years and some of the things we have gone thru together ,and I have previously loaned him , briefly £1000 for his hobby , and like some of you are saying , he didnt even have to ask , I said , Oh I have got cash in the safe , you can use that , go and get it and you can go buy your car / Motorbike / whatever !!

There are all the lovely OH's who like that just randomly buy horse rugs , horse trailers, help with vets bill , or even buy a horse or pony etc etc as a thoughful gift for birthdays , xmas, valentines day !!!
And I buy my OH little things i see that he might like, his fave cake, jumper etc , and he grudges buying me a measly xmas gift !!!

I think i may just be in the habit now , used to being with him, and bickering and starting to resent each other !!

Thank you everyone !!! Everyones thoughts are really appreciated !! and I really do try to think of it the other way round with my OH , re if he was wanting to moan about having an expensive golf trip ro what have you and yet he couldnta afford it , but the thing is , My horses are at home at parents home and actually only cost me at the moment , living out , barefoot , fed and rugged , maybe £150 a month max , and I am waiting to be paid for a couple of jobs, have a tax rebate and have sold my car , these funds will all be available in the next 4/5 weeks , so the problem i have is my OH would only have to borrow me money , for a few weeks max

I understand some of you guys views that I shouldnt EXPECT him to fund my horse etc , but i have borrowed him £1000 before , when he needed to buy his hobby thing right then , before it was snapped up and he couldnt make it to bank .

I dont EXPECT him to fund my hobby but think its not great that he doesnt even offer to borrow me cash for short period, when I would give him my last penny , like some of you guys have said , and have previously gave him money .

I think the problem is we obv have vastly differing views on sharing , helping one another out , support and money ideas etc .

My MARE , when I say bad and unrideable , she is very poor , underweight at present , but not unrideable for me ,I have in fact ridden her just last week at the dealers , no problem for me as I know how to handle her , she is exact same as when i had her first , but I see what you guys are saying !1

you know when there is a horse that in the wrong hands could be very bad, this is her !!

I am going to make a minimal offer for my mare , as you say meat money type thing !!

Im not just being silly and emotional re horse/ OH , coz my grandma is going to give me the money for the horse and teh horses keep me sane and this horse means probably soooooo much more to me than OH !!!

i Will let everyone know what happens !!!!
