My little Springer Jack is in the Royal Veterinary College for tests. He has a bad cough and his breathing is labored. He has been there since yesterday.

They have done a lot of tests and things to him. It looks as if he has Chronic Bronchitis so is staying in over the week end so they can start treatment on him.

He has been such a good little fella coping with everything.

Poor lad...vibes on their way to him. A few friends work there so know he is in good hands.

Fingers crossed for him xx

Is he at the Royal Vet School Hospital in Cambridge? If so, they are BRILLIANT! My Large Munsterlander broke his leg on the 3rd April whilst playing ball with my daughter's boyfriend - leapt up for the ball and landed awkwardly. My lovely local vet said it was a really bad break and basically beyond her capabilities and referred him to Cambridge. He had five star treatment and was back home with us several days before they'd predicted. The staff were all so helpful and professional and Bryn was just about back to normal by July and will hopefully be picking up on a shoot my OH has been invited to in October. I love Springers (have three!) and I'm sure your little chap really is in the best place! Is he insured? I'm now well north of £3,000 poorer..........

No keeperscottage he is in the Royal College at South Mimms. He is hopefully coming home today which will be nice as my parents miss him a lot.

Does anyone have a dog with Chronic Bronchitis and how do they cope

Jack came home tonight with a pile of pills. I have to report how he is getting on in a weeks time and then he goes back to the college in 2 weeks time.

He does seem a little better and they have not found anything nasty.
